However, the lease appeared to have been incorrectly drafted resulting in a potential increase of ground rent of over £1,300,000 at the first review in 2028. The members agreed at the AGM on 20 November 2019 that the freeholder would be approached and a deed of variation entered into to correct the error. The deed was signed by the company and the freeholder in 2020 and has been submitted to the Land Registry for registration.
